- Hand wash with hot soapy water, rinse, and dry immediately with a towel. Do
  not soak or use the dishwasher.
- Store in a dry place, away from extreme heat or humidity.
- Oil the wood occasionally (food-safe board or mineral oil) to keep it from
  drying out or cracking.
- The natural, chemical-free finish may rub off slightly (brown/black) at
  first - this is 100% safe and fades after a few washes.
